Domino’s Pizza Aggressively Dominates The Online Market
Ann Arbor, Michigan Domino’s Pizza based reached $1 billion in online sales this month (Feb. 2010). That represents about 20 percent of Domino’s orders. Domino’s Pizza has the largest online pizza ordering system in the United States, surpassing both Pizza Hut and Papa John’s last year.
Earlier this month (press release) Domino’s Pizza ran a very successful one-day promotion for Valentine’s Day to celebrate the billion-dollar achievement. To take advantage of the promotion customers simply had to enter a coupon code when ordering their pizzas online to receive a FREE 2-piece order of Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes. Obviously, Domino’s has mastered online marketing and is now enjoying big profits for their effort.
Domino’s Pizza has taken the bull by it’s horns and turned the net into one of it’s biggest assets. Recognizing the potential of an online ordering system, the pizza giant ran head-on to aggressively dominate the online market in it’s industry.
A lot can be learned from success stories such as this. Don’t sit on your hands while your competition is figuring it out.

I dont like dominos in the UK, it is so greasy and sloppy. Really not nice!
